I was so excited to get these. They're absolutely gorgeous. For years I had worn MBTs sport and while I loved them, I hated the color (I know, I'm a girl, what can I say).

The Skechers are beautiful - I got mine in black and white. As I wore mine, I did notice that my feet tended to pronate (Pronation describes a slight inward rolling motion the foot makes during a normal walking or running stride). This I did not like. At first I thought I walk this way, but looking at the bottom of all my shoes, they're worn on the outside of my heel, not inside. After a few more tries with the Skechers, I realized it's the shoe. As I step, it makes me roll my feet.
I looked at others wearing the Shape Ups and they too step inward. All these people can't possibly walk badly, so I came to the conclusion that it's the shoe that's causing the pronation. Too bad!!!

I went back to my MBTs and I walk perfectly straight in them. I'm sorry to say these did not work out for me. I will be selling them.

After seeing the commercial about this shoe, I purchased them. I waited a few weeks before I wore them because I'd never spent this muchmoney on a pair of shoes. Well, I wore them and they were so comfortable that I forgot to adhere to the recommended "25-45 minutes per day" when wearing for the first few times. I couldn't take them off! Being someone who is not a walker, I found myself walking around the neighborhood, up and down hills and even in the house walking up and down stairs. I know this will help in my weight loss; it got me off the sofa and on my feet. My back pain lessened. Get them - you'll thank me later.

Buying Skechers Cali Women's Established Sandal

Perhaps I received a pair that were slightly thinner in the foot-bed but I will have to disagree with the rave reviews here. I have this same skecher shoe/sandal/wedge in brown, pink w/black trim and white w/black trim...and I love them. Those three are my "go to" shoes all summer last year so I wanted another pair. Found these....what I failed to note on line is that the heal is slightly hollowed out in this pair. All the others I own are solid wedges. Well, in order to support the hollowed out portion there is (what feels like) a small "pole" running through the shoe straight up into the bottom of my left heel. I feel it in the right shoe as well but not nearly as bad. Standing in line at the bank or grocery store is painful, yes painful, in these shoes for me. I already ordered (today here on Amazon) another pair that are exactly like those other I own, no hollowed area in the heals, just solid wedge, in solid black (the other thing about these shoes...I was tired of the little bit of bling on the straps almost immediately, not enough to hate the shoe but add that together with the pain and yep, hate the shoes now).....can't wait to receive my new "old" pair with solid wedge and will immediately donate the hollow heel to Salvation Army.

I had been looking for a slip on sneaker for a while. Knew that I like the Skechers but refused to pay more than $50.00 for sneakers!
I like this shoe. However, you do have to adjust the tongue each and every time you slide your foot in. The tongue is not stationary. Other than that...good stuff.

I have been wearing Sketcher's Sleek for about a week as I write this review. My main motivation was that I have been taking care of my mom and running back and forth in a big house with all ceramic tile floors and having pain in my feet and legs by the end of the day, so much that I hobbled. I wore cross trainers, I hated them. I put Dr. Scholl's supports in but that felt like a rock in my arch after a few hours. I hate wearing shoes. Having high arches and some leg defects never helped matters. Also, being a caregiver, my workout time became less and less existant.

I searched all the styles. Sleek stood out because I need to get in and out of my shoes quickly. These are for indoor, relatively clean, floors only. I can switch to outdoor shoes with just a rip. I tried on a lace up style at the mall for sizing purposes. Then I came home and made my order. I do prefer black, but black soles make marks on ivory floors so I chose the stone and silver. No marks or scuffs!

The guide recommends that you start with 25-45 minutes of wear and gradually increase. I did not. I felt a bit of burn in the back of thigh and butt area. I wear them for about 5-6 hours. It's like walking on pillows! My feet and legs feel good at the end of the day. I used to feel numbness as well and have to elevate my legs straight up and massage them.
I don't know how effective they'll be for getting fitness results, however, how I feel right now is definitely worth buying them. It's like not wearing a typical shoe. I know I will buy another pair to wear out doing errands.

Another note: I wear either size 10 or 11 depending on the shoe. The 10 was too tight. There was no 11 to try on but I went with it. I am very happy with the 11's fit.

I ordered them Aug. 5 I have been wearing them M-F since then. I don't like them, I have more Knee pain with them then before and when removing them my bottoms of my feet burn! Just not that great.
